HERE ARE TWO REALLY PRETTY WAYS TO WEAR BROWN LIPSTICK

Brown lipstick isn't exactly a new. See: the entirety of the '90s. But that doesn't mean it's not majorly trending right now. And October is the perfect time to experiment with warm, chocolaty variations on the hue, as actressPriyanka Chopra and model Joan Smalls each so flawlessly demonstrated this week. Both paired it with minimal eye makeup, glow-y skin (a trait it seems impossible for either of them to ever not have) and expertly groomed brows.

Chopra's take on the trend, shown above, relied on a Tom Ford lipstick with a creamy finish that's neither fully matte nor glossy (makeup artist Stephanie Barnes, who created the look, has yet to divulge the exact shade; we've reached out to her to try and find out). It's a cool, plum-tinged mocha that — it has to be said — looks seriously gorgeous on her.

Smalls went for more of a full-on matte brown lip, a shade from Estée Lauder(again, we've begun an investigation to find out the exact shade her makeup artist, Porsche Cooper, used). She paired it with a textured, high ponytail and a black turtleneck, thus completing everyone's ideal autumnal beauty look. BRB, going on a search for the perfect brown lipstick and turtleneck.
