The experience and notes when photographed in black and white

Photographed in black and white is one of the most difficult imaging technique, which requires the photographer to know techniques to express the soul of the picture without color. If you are interested in taking no colour photographs, the following experiences could be useful.

1. Subject:

Most viewers are hoping something impressive and brings strong feelings for them in black and white photos. Therefore the subject is the most important issue. Sometimes there are things look very ordinary in real life but becomes very impressive when expressed on the photo.
For the photographer really understand photography, no colour photographs, each needs to be taken as color photographs.

2. Layout:

When viewing a color photograph, our minds will immediately identify and memorize the details in the context of the image rather than the sense of the message they want to express. This is the opposite in no colour photographs like black and white photographs. Monochrome images often have an advantage in making the story or experience onto the photos. They usually have the depth and makes viewers have the opportunity to discover an object or person in a way that a more thorough way thanks to special factors which it owns, especially with good contrast. Never let the gray take up too much space on the photograph, because it will make the picture has no depth and become flat and lifeless.

3. Brightness:

Always be sure to use the correct amount of light with your photographic intentions. Black and white are present in each picture so you need to manually adjust the brightness accordingly to express the nuances of the photo.

4. Use software to convert photos:

Most cameras have the option to switch to black and white shooting directly, but it’s best not to use it. Take color photographs then convert to black and white photographs by processing software, because, algorithms convert black and white images integrated in camera does not handle well with the image than software.
