Consequently, Jennifer Lawrence has walked as many red carpets and The Academy Awards, or “Oscars“ as stars twice her age. She also sported an ice cool new hair colour. Plenty of opportunities for hair experimentation then – the actress has tried pixie crops and extensions, blonde and brunette hues, as well as spawning copycats the world over with her much-Googled “Katniss braid” in The Hunger Games. Her Oscars Dior gown certainly had us all talking. That’s until we clapped eyes on what Jennifer Lawrence wore to the Vanity Fair afterparty. The actress took an altogether chicer leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book, wearing a cropped bodice and long black skirt with a split to the thigh by Alexander Wang.

Jennifer Lawrence has never disappointed us in the dress department since her first debut at the Oscars. This year was no different. Teamed with a sleek platinum bob and sultry make-up, she opted for this black lace Dior gown with a layered skirt and a sheer, deep V bodice.
